Wounds, Burns, Grazes: What To Do?

We are all used to falling and being subjected to wounds, burns, and scrapes since we were children. Something that can happen at any age, even as adults, in most cases giving rise to minor phenomena. But what to do when you find yourself with such small problems?

If the situation turns out to be a normal routine and does not present symptoms such as requiring the intervention of specialized healthcare personnel, effective remedies can be prepared by oneself.

Products that are always useful to have on hand. Let’s see which are the most effective and how to use them.

Hyaluronic Acid: The Natural Ally In Case Of Wounds, Burns, Scrapes

Before focusing on the good practices to be implemented for treating wounds and scrapes, let’s see what are, in general, the functional products for treating wounds, burns, and thanks.

So many formulations can be found in pharmacies, and among these, connective wine plus is particularly valid, also available in the bio version. Suppose you wonder about the difference between connective tissue plus and connective tissue bio plus. In that case, it can be attributed to hyaluronic acid found in connective tissue bio.

Hyaluronic acid is an increasingly common scarifier, thanks to the good tolerability of the body, which can absorb it optimally. It is a component of natural origin, also widely used in cosmetics. It treats wounds, scrapes, skin ulcers, breast fissures, and burns. It succeeds, in fact, in accelerating the times necessary for the recovery of such states, always when the entity is slight; otherwise, it is necessary to consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Treatment Of Burns

Burns are lesions that affect the skin. Depending on the severity, they are due to heat and can manifest themselves in different degrees (first, second, and third). Among the causes are using chemicals and contact with electrical devices, hot liquids, and fire. It is no wonder that their formation generally takes place within the home. First-degree burns are the most common and affect the superficial layer of the epidermis. They usually heal within a week or less and are not scared. Acting on burns when they are still minor is essential to prevent possible aggravation. The recommended steps, if this type of problem occurs are:

  1. Remove the presence of any clothing, being careful not to rub the lesion; jewels are included.
  2. Hold the affected part under running water at about 15° or apply cold compresses. The time is important to be around 15 minutes. This procedure should not be carried out if chemicals cause the burn: contacting a doctor or an emergency room is better.
  3. Cover the area with sterile gauze without compressing.
  4. These are the correct procedures for burns that do not appear particularly serious, i.e., first and maximum second-degree. Otherwise, and we will never tire of repeating it, promptly intervening by consulting a doctor is essential.
  5. Applying products such as connectivity plus and even more connectivity bio plus proves to be useful in ensuring that the burn does not get worse, helping to avoid worsening.
  6. The composition is effective and safe. However, the product should be kept away from the reach of children under the age of three.

The Treatment Of Wounds And Abrasions

Let’s start from the basics: what is a wound? It is a tear in the skin caused by trauma. It can be superficial, deep, or penetrating: the latter level is the most serious and involves internal organs.

The excoriation, therefore, is a superficial lesion, a peeling, and is due to rubbing. What to do in case of wounds and abrasions when they are minor? Symptoms are light bleeding, and the trauma lasts a few minutes. However, there is a risk of putting the body facing a possible infection.

It must be opposed and prevented since it can lead to potentially important consequences.

While scrapes and superficial wounds can be treated at home, this is not the case for deep and penetrating wounds: it is necessary to consult a doctor as soon as possible. The first thing to do is to clean the wound with cold water using sterile gauze. The use of cotton wool should be avoided as it could leave residue on the wound.

At this point, it is possible to disinfect the wound with ad hoc products. There are several on the market, and one of the most common is hydrogen peroxide. The important thing is that the expiration date has stayed the same. All that remains is to cover the abrasion with gauze/plasters for protection. It is very useful for burns to apply products such as connectivity plus and connectivity bio plus, of which we have seen the difference.
