Hot Smoothies: They Effectively Strengthen The Immune System & Help You Lose Weight

Vegetables, spices, and fruit: during the cold season, hot smoothies not only keep your stomach warm but can also strengthen your immune system thanks to their ingredients. What is behind the food trend?

Fruit, vegetables, and spices are among the foods that, with their valuable ingredients, mobilize the body’s defenses and thus strengthen the immune system.

A current food trend combines all of this: hot smoothies can therefore make an essential contribution to well-being.

With Hot Smoothies Through The Winter

Unlike the cold, well-known version, hot smoothies are refined with a good dash of hot milk or better with plant-based milk alternatives to give the drink its creamy consistency.

In addition to fruit and vegetables, there is also a selection of spices: cinnamon, vanilla, turmeric, and chili give the smoothie that special flavor – and make it even healthier.

When preparing hot smoothies, whatever tastes good is allowed.

Do not overheat the drinks; otherwise, some minerals and vitamins lose their health-promoting effect.

That’s Why Hot Smoothies Are So Healthy

Fruit and vegetables provide the body with essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, vitamin E or zinc, which are particularly needed in the cold season to support the immune system properly.

Thanks to the added spices, hot smoothies also have an antibacterial effect, for example, or boost the metabolism.

Adding vanilla and cinnamon provides more sweetness and makes cravings a thing of the past. Hot smoothies can even help you lose weight.

Another popular hot smoothie spice is turmeric. This has an anti-inflammatory effect, promotes digestion, and strengthens the immune system.

Tip: The health-promoting effect of the spice is enhanced if you combine it with a pinch of black pepper.
