In that case, the bacteria can be dragged to the urethra and infect the bladder, or the defensive bacterial flora of the genitals can be altered and let external pathogens “pass.” Bacterial infections can also develop following the collapse of the vaginal and urethral fauna due to antibiotics, contamination due to the use of the catheter tampons not changed frequently enough, poor or poor, or excessive intimate hygiene. 
3. Intense sexual activity: the so-called “honeymoon cystitis,” i.e., inflammation of the bladder due to numerous traumatic sexual intercourse in a short time
4. In men, cystitis often presents with bacterial prostatitis, although the number of men suffering from this disorder is minimal.

Symptoms Of Cystitis

Symptoms of cystitis are peculiar and very recognizable. There is an urgent need to urinate, persistent and excruciating. The urine is light, dark, or opaque at the attempt, sometimes streaked with blood or pus. Ordinary cystitis rarely causes fever: if it does, the infection has probably spread to the kidney system. 

The Diagnosis

To diagnose cystitis, you need a urine antibiogram, which analyzes the bacteria, viruses, or fungi present in the urine. If nothing is found, a gynecological examination is carried out, highlighting trauma or incorrect behaviors that have encouraged the exacerbation of the inflammation. 

Possible Cures For Cystitis

Infectious cystitis is treated with drugs that attack the responsible pathogen.  Some daily behaviors can discourage the development of new infections and the eroticization of previous ones: 

1. Take lactic ferments, which improve the defensive activity of the “good” bacteria present in the vagina and urethra.
2. Drink plenty of water to increase urine volume and to allow the kidney system to eliminate more bacteria and toxins responsible for inflammation
3. Never hold urine for too many hours: this behavior can inflame the bladder walls.
4. Improving intimate hygiene, both in number and in quality, correcting wrong behaviors by excess or defect (many cystitis are caused by too frequent and traumatic cleaning)
5. Do not wear synthetic, tight-fitting clothing that can inflame the genital area.
6. In the case of menopause, taking synthetic estrogen improves the overall quality of life, including sensitivity to infections.
